Traffic, yup

June 4, 2011

So, yesterday coming home after work, we got stuck in traffic.  It was crazy.  The two lane road suddenly became four lanes with mopeds driving through the half inch spaces between the cars.  To add to all the craziness it was raining!!  So the normal fifteen minute ride home became about an hour and a half.

Last night for dinner I had egg fried rice.  It was fairly similar to the fried rice you get in the states except for three things.  It had a lot more pepper, they gave you a spicy grave to put on top…gravy comes with just about everything here, and you eat it with your hands of course.  This morning I had dosa, which is a rice wrap.  In the middle was the masala gravy, but a little thicker than normal, it had some potatoes mashed in as well.  By the way I am enjoying tea every morning and sometimes in the afternoon as well,  I feel very colonial…

Back to work, still looking for suppliers and seeing what the margins are for this coco(it fits me) charcoal

    Coco,
Love your blog! The traffic sounds alot like Quito in rush hour. I bet you were really hungry when you finally made it home. Hopefully the rain will become more sporadic as time goes on instead of so constant. We’re proud of all you’re doing.
